Citylitics

Citylitics turns documents from 40,000+ cities and utilities into predictive infrastructure sales signals, using AI and human analysts to surface projects years before RFPs are issued.

Citylitics operates a sales intelligence platform for public infrastructure. Its core proposition is timing: the company applies artificial intelligence, machine learning and large-scale document processing to material produced by cities, utilities and other public agencies, converting it into predictive insight that lets manufacturers, engineering firms and construction companies identify and position themselves for projects years before an RFP is written. The approach pairs automated intelligence with human review, drawing on a team of more than 40 in-house infrastructure analysts who examine thousands of records daily.

Two products carry the business. The Citylitics Platform surfaces project opportunities ahead of public issuance and processes more than one billion documents sourced from over 40,000 cities, utilities and public agencies. The Infrastructure Signal Graph is a proprietary graph that tracks planning, pre-design and funding activity across the sector, monitoring more than 31,000 signals a day in order to detect projects at an early stage.

The technical work spans predictive analytics, data engineering, knowledge and signal-graph construction and document processing at scale. Commercially, the company serves customers in manufacturing, engineering services, construction, water and municipal infrastructure, and its stated premise is that the most effective sales teams shape requests for proposals long before those proposals exist rather than responding to them after the fact.

Citylitics describes a collaborative environment oriented around measurable results and the raising of standards, with work framed as mission-driven and situated at the applied edge of AI in an industry expected to matter for decades.
